Art Classes
I love to share my love for art and what I know about it, and I have taught art classes in various settings for about 13 years. This includes nine years in Montessori-based schools where I have worked with first through eighth grade students.
Since 2013, I have taught art classes also at my own studio. I teach children's summer art camps and after-school classes, as well as occasional adult workshops and evening classes.
I like to challenge my students in terms of creativity and also technically. That's why I work with small groups only (max. eight students) because it allows me to give lots of individual attention. Most of the projects that I teach are based on my original concepts. I like for the students to take close looks, to see the invisible, and to make up visual stories. Many of my projects involve mixed media and collage.
Due to the pandemic, I haven’t taught face-to-face classes for a while. I am not planning any summer camps this year but probably will offer after-school classes for the 2022/23 school year.
Please contact me if you would like to learn more about future classes. If you are looking for a fun summer art project you may be interested in my “Hundertwasser Birdhouse” take-home kit. - Thank you!
